Collabco helps transform learning in the FE sector
03rd December 2020We are delighted to share, that despite the recent challenges as the result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued to help many new establishments within the FE sector and have welcomed a number of new colleges in becoming customers.
Collabco are proud to now have over 50% of Scottish colleges using the myday platform with an increasing number of institutions across the world choosing the solution for the first time or returning to myday.
In response to the pandemic, many colleges found they quickly needed a system which could support online, seamless and connected access to everything needed in a student’s studies, such as email, a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and up-to-date news. Lots of colleges had outdated software which couldn’t support Remote Learning or software developed in-house which couldn’t cope with the increased demand.
myday has helped the likes of Ayrshire and Dundee & Angus colleges bring all resources and information students need into one central location, helping students be more engaged with their learning and their college, whether they be online or on campus. myday also helps colleges engage with different stakeholders including students, prospective students, parents, staff and alumni.
“I just love the App and don’t know how we would manage without it now to be honest!” says one customer.
Many students have enjoyed getting to know their new environment through virtual tours which has helped the likes of Middlesbrough College continue with their recruitment plans. As young people take stock of their options, many are choosing to study, or return to study and having a system like myday is a great selling point for an institution during their recruitment drives.
