University of Bedfordshire make the switch to myday

We are delighted to announce that the University of Bedfordshire have chosen myday to provide their Digital Campus, after making the switch from their previous supplier.

The solution will deliver the university’s resources directly to smartphones on the move, allowing advanced communications and collaborations across its campuses. The university which has five separate campuses and supports in the region of 14,000 students chose Collabco to replace its existing campusM installation, as myday has an excellent track record in HE and FE.

“We wanted a provider that had excellent credentials in higher education, but one that was still personal enough to build a close relationship with – Collabco fits both of those requirements and the team and its enthusiasm has blown us away,” explains Wojtek Adamek, CIO, University of Bedfordshire.

“We have worked very closely with our students to find out what their requirements are for a digital campus environment and with Collabco to deliver on those wishes and it’s been a totally frictionless exercise.

“It’s clear we matter to Collabco and they are going out of their way to make sure that implementation is smooth and handled remotely as much as possible.”

myday will deliver a completely mobile solution for the university and deliver 24×7 access to the VLE, email, timetables, the online notice boards, the SU and many other university resources.

“It’s clear from research we’ve done that the students look things up on their smartphones, but do their work on their laptops, so we wanted to deliver the best mobile solution we could across all devices so they could easily find out the details of their day whilst on the move,” concludes Wojtek Adamek.
